From Tripadvisor.com reviews of U Sadu Prague Restaurant:
Atmosphere 10/10:“I want there with my boyfriend to eat and drink some beer on out first day in Prague. We wanted to go to place where we can feel True Czech atmosphere. U Sadu we found what we were looking for! Tasty food, really good beer, nice service (they clean fast tablet from plates, ask when beer is almost empty if you want another one). On our last day day we came here as well (only for beer) and everything was ok as well.”
Unexpected discovery: “Close to the attraction of Zizkov TV Tower, in one of the green backyards we unexpectedly found this very nice, quiet and reasonable-prices place with a very good selection of food and beers. Friendly waiters, spaces avaliable both inside and outside, quick service. Definitely thums-up from us!”
Take your Taste Buds off the Tourist Track: “Just under the iconic TV tower near the Jiřího z Poděbrad metro station, you will find this authentic local watering hole and eatery. With beer hall-style tables outside and a cosy inside area, this is where the locals come to quench their thirst and still their hunger. It’s the real deal, and the menu is both varied and affordable… ”
“Traditional and cheap“: After a morning visiting TV tower and district stopped here for a spot of lunch, no problem with staff; those who served us were pleasant and attended to us with no delay. Many different beers available and my wife went for a homemade lemonade with lavender (not my cup of tea, but she said it was nice). Food-wise – really simple order – smoked ham off the bone, gazpacho and something we have never had – fried cheese three ways – not healthy but nice! All washed down with cold liquids, under £6 ahead. Lunch meal good value, recommend if in the area full of locals and some English speakers (I think they lived in the district).Worth giving it a try.
