A bronze statue of T. G. M. was unveiled at the Hradčanské Square, close to Salmovský Palace, on the occasion of the 150thanniversary of his birth. A bronze statue of St George, killing the dragon, is located on the III. Courtyard of the Prague Castle. It is an important monument of gothic metal-founding from the 14th century. It is the first known Czech sculpture located in the open space, therefore not to be bound to the building. This 39-ton bust by artist David Černý dates from November 2014 and stands just by the Quadrio business centre, directly above the Národní třída metro station. Statue of Jan Žižka

The monument was unveiled in 1950 on the anniversary of the battle on Vítkov (1420), in which the Hussites under the leadership of Jan Žižka defeated the Crusaders’ troops in this place. The bronze monument has admirable size: it is 22 m high including the pedestal and the total weight is 16.5 t. It is one of the biggest equestrian statues in the world. Statue of Bedřich Smetana

At the end of Novotného lávka in front of the Museum of Bedřich Smetana, a monument to this famous composer was unveiled on 4th June 1984 on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of his death. It was made by Prof. Josef Malejovský and architect Bedřich Hanák. The bronze sculpture is 235 cm high and weighs about a tonne.
