Residence U Černého orla

The history of this picturesque hotel U Černého orla goes back to the mid-14th century, maybe even further. The earliest mention from the renowned toponymy by Václav Vladivoj Tomek states that a palace for the Mainz archbishop Ludwig stood here at the time. That is the very same building from the Lesser Town legend claiming that the house is dedicated to bliss and happiness.

“August 2017“: We stayed at this hotel in August 2017. It is located right in the center of the Old Town, very close to Charles Bridge. We must say that the hotel is quite exquisite. I liked everything about it, the design of the rooms, the food and the politeness of staff. I would highly recommend to book a room with breakfast and/or dinner included.
Pros: nice food, nice service, exquisite, quiet and clean rooms. We were even offered a discount card for some restaurants in Prague while we stay. Cons: the hotel has no lift so in case you have trouble walking the stairs – make sure you reserve a room on the lower floors. The hotel has 4 floors. I would gladly recommend this hotel to my friends.
