Hrabal Wall

Tatiana Svatošová created this colourful collage depicting the life and work of Bohumil Hrabal, one of the most famous Czech authors, on the outer wall of the Palmovka metro station on Na Hrázi Street back in 1999. Spread over an area of 333 m2, it features excerpts from Hrabal’s most famous works, his portrait, his typewriter, and even his cats, which the author, who lived in the courtyard of the derelict building at number 24, was particularly fond of.
