“A nice surprise below street level… Supermarket full of variety.“: I literally stumbled upon Tesco as I wandered around Prague. Great selection of foods both local and imported. A nice cheese and meat deli counter. YOU can get pretty well everything you might want here. Some prices seemed a bit steeper than I expected but others were a great deal. If you have cooking options in your lodging you could do well here. If not you can easily make a picnic lunch with cold cuts, cheeses , fruit and great Czech Beer. As this is a supermarket not a tourist spot … do not expect staff to speak English … some do , many may not. I found this store well stocked with good selections. I had no problem with any staff and found them friendly and hard working.
